Etude House Skin Mal:gem Emulsion All In One Moisturizing Emulsion Review

Annyeonghaseyo! I finally decided to review my favorite moisturizer! :)

Mal:gem is the Korean word for cleanness, clarity and pureness. Skin Malgeum hypoallergenic toners promote clean, clear and pure complexion with moisturizing and pore cleansing formulas.
 

I should have done this 8 months ago. I got this at Etude House SM Cebu last August 2013 but started using it after 2 months since I'm still using another moisturizer at that time. I bought this for Php678.00

The Skin [mal:gem] line was endorsed by Shinee, the reason why I went to check this product. I chose the emulsion type because I can apply it directly on my face without using cotton swabs.

I love the cute packaging! It has a glass-like bottle but it's actually plastic and it's transparent so you'll know if you're about  to finish the product. By the way, I got this photo from the internet because I already threw the box months ago..
 

Etude House Skin [mal:gem] Emulsion is a 3-in-1 skin care product, a moisturizer, essence and cream all in one. Its hypoallergenic formula provides a clear and pure complexion. Because of its thinner consistency to other moisturizers, it is able to penetrate deeper for a longer and more effective hydration. It's pore controlling properties will minimize pores, creating a clean complexion. 

How to Use:  Apply an appropriate amount all over face. Pat gently to help absorption.

The ingredients list. It contains alcohol but still it's moisturizing, maybe because it has these plant extracts that is known to moisturize and exfoliate the skin. Oh, and by the way, it's paraben free! Another reason to love this. :)

It doesn't have a pump so I have to shake the bottle for the product to come out but it's fine because the emulsion is kinda runny so it's not really hard to get the product.

The emulsion is white but when applied to the skin, it turns transparent. It has a light consistency and it's not oily or sticky at all.

I have been using this for almost 9 months now and look, still a lot of product left! It contains 200mL and I think one bottle is enough for a year.

What makes this moisturizer my favorite? It's perfect for my combination skin. My pores look smaller and my skin is not that oily anymore. I don't know why other bloggers said that it takes a while before it is absorbed by their skin because it's opposite for me. I can feel how soft and  moisturize my skin and it's starting to look radiant after a week of using this. I also like the light grapefruit/citrusy scent of this one. It's sooooo refreshing.

Will I buy this again? Yes, and I hope this is still available by the time I finish this one.
